Future-Ready Identity

Clare Whalley, a local business coach, asked us to refresh her brand after having the same logo for more than ten years. Over that time her business, Meta4 Business Coaching, had evolved in its offering, and her current brand was no longer reflective of her current experience levels, expertise or clients she was marketing to attract. With a desire to have a more professional, aspirational feel, we set to work to create a visual identity for Clare that would set her up for the decades to come.

The Adventure

We created a logo for Clare based on her ‘super-power’ – as a straight-talking no-nonsense business coach, and the results she achieves for her clients. With a new typeface, we adjusted the lettering of ‘Meta4’ so it represents ‘to the power of 4,’ as in mathematics. This shows that Clare’s unique coaching programmes can multiply ROI in clients’ businesses many times over, making a huge positive impact in their professional and personal lives.

The strapline to sit with the brand was, therefore, ‘The power of business coaching’. Using a vibrant purple, we brought in the warmer, energetic orange accent to bring the brand alive. The triangular shapes from the logo became supporting elements across the wider brand identity.

Kate’s creativity, and attention to what I wanted was at the forefront of every conversation and she allayed my fears by talking through the whole process. The new brand has enabled me to attract clients who are in turn more committed and serious about the results they get for their business, working with business owners who, like me, are focused on long term strategies and have a focused approach to business.

The Destination

Clare’s brand has taken her business to a new level, with her social media posts, emailers, brochures, and other marketing collateral all kept on-brand. With elements supplied to her, she can easily create her own marketing assets and keep that professional image across all her touch points.

She is now taking on a more high-level clientele, has a visual identity that excites and engages the people she really wants to work with, and gives her the tools to take her business forward confidently.
