Wearable Insights

We were invited to bring a fresh creative edge to educational software company, Talis, with some conceptual designs for t-shirt giveaways at their recent Annual Talis Insight Event. Talis, whose intelligent software helps deliver learning resources online at educational institutions across the world, needed something fun and stylish that their delegates would be happy to wear outside of the event.

With delegates consisting of higher education professionals, library staff and management from Institutions across Europe, the designs needed to be true to the Talis brand message, but with a modern twist to make them quirky and appealing.

The Adventure

Cudos Creative presented Talis with a number of ideas featuring slogans and graphics that would appeal to their audience, from which two designs were selected. The first design featured the slogan ‘Librarians broaden horizons’, with an illustration of a city skyline composed of a shelf of books.

The second design was based on the phrase ‘shelf life’, designed in a grunge-style font and supporting graphics. The t-shirts went down a storm at the event, for which we also designed the event programme and table talkers.

Kate fully understood our brief and what we were trying to achieve in our event give-aways. We needed some creative ideas, and the final designs we had produced worked really well. They went down a storm with our attendees, who wore their t-shirts with pride!

The Destination

This project achieved its objectives – to connect Talis with their audience and show their fun side! The t-shirt designs were a gift for the event that people will get real value from – something that they get pleasure from wearing beyond the event itself.
Promotional t-shirts with big logos tend to be a turn off, so the alternative funky slogans have really brought some character to the brand.
