Shaping Outcomes
Virtual Decisions create immersive, virtual reality programmes acted out by real people, to help tackle hard-hitting social problems such as gangs and knife crime. Through a VR headset the programmes place the user into a safe simulation of challenging scenarios, giving them the opportunity to make a range of choices on how to react, and see first-hand how their actions play out. With a background in theatre production, Virtual Decisions script the programmes with the help of subject experts, compiling a library of topics that can engage hard-to-reach, vulnerable individuals, reduce crime and save lives.
The Adventure
We needed to create a brand identity that reflected their unique and compelling brand story, with a distinctive styling that combined ‘real life social issues’ with ‘innovative tech’. Our inspiration was to show the flow of the user journey, with its twists and turns, linking the two letterforms together with a twist. Applying a ‘half-tone’ style graphic style to the ‘V’ of ‘Virtual’ with a solid blue for the ‘Decisions’ brought together the two aspects of the company perfectly, with the twisted ribbon effect a great tool to flow throughout all their branded comms.
The Destination
Virtual Decisions have big plans to transform the lives of young people and adults at risk, both within the UK, and globally. They have a dynamic visual identity that perfectly aligns with their ambitious business objectives, giving the team the tools and confidence to successfully launch the brand and take it to market. Already featured on Crimewatch LIVE, the company is making positive ripples with a well-branded business that’s poised to make a difference in the lives of many individuals.
