Tailored Lifestyle is a visionary developer with a unique commitment to transforming the affordable housing market. Their mission is to lead the way in providing accessible and affordable homes that prioritise community and well-being. By focusing on tailored solutions for specific resident groups in highest need, they challenge conventional market practices and put people at the forefront of their initiatives. Dedicated to sustainable development, they exclusively utilise brownfield and greyfield sites, ensuring responsible land sourcing and construction practices.
Their approach goes beyond building homes; they create thriving communities centred around the happiness and satisfaction of their residents. To reflect their values as an inclusive and ethical developer prioritising people over profit, Tailored Lifestyle required a compelling brand identity and a suite of marketing assets. These tools will effectively convey their mission, inspire confidence among customers and stakeholders, and propel future growth.
The Adventure
Our approach to the project was centred around creating a distinctive and vibrant brand identity that embodies inclusivity, warmth, and a strong sense of community. The brief highlighted the importance of incorporating symbology related to ‘growth,’ which influenced our design rationale. We crafted a vibrant logo featuring a series of multicoloured ‘homes’ overlapping to form a blooming flower.
This unique design not only symbolises the flourishing communities that Tailored Lifestyle wish to be known for, but also brings a sense of unity among people from diverse backgrounds. To enhance its impact, we animated the graphic to make it ‘bloom,’ infusing it with life and energy. Set against a striking purple backdrop, this design represents Tailored Lifestyle as a vibrant hub where communities thrive together, celebrating their differences and shared growth.
The Destination
The next phase involved rolling out the brand identity through a comprehensive brand guidelines document, engaging pitch decks, and thought-provoking designs for development hoardings. The aim was to position the brand as an inclusive and welcoming asset to the community. For the hoardings, we sought a more innovative aproach rather than simply showcase CGI representations of the development. We opted for a striking design featuring an open front door with a diverse array of shoes placed outside, demonstrating ‘everyone’s welcome.
This concept, encapsulated by the tagline “WELcoming soon,” vividly conveys the inclusive spirit of the development. The brand colours and logo are designed to create a strong visual impact, capturing attention on the street as well as online. Tailored Lifestyle now boasts a distinctive brand identity that sets them apart from other developers, firmly establishing them as a people-first organisation dedicated to the well-being of their residents.
